The 2014 Can-Am® Spyder® ST (Sport-Touring) is the perfect "middle ground" in the Spyder lineup, designed for riders who want the spirited handling of a sportbike with the upright comfort and wind protection of a long-haul cruiser. Sitting between the aggressive RS and the full-dress RT, the ST is the choice for the rider who enjoys a Saturday morning blast through the curves as much as a multi-day journey across the Texas plains.
Powering the 2014 ST is the proven Rotax® 998cc V-twin engine. This liquid-cooled powerplant is known for its high-revving character and punchy torque, delivering 100 HP and 80 lb-ft of torque. Whether equipped with the manual 5-speed or the semi-automatic SE5 transmission, the power is delivered smoothly via a low-maintenance belt drive. The Y-frame architecture and Vehicle Stability System (VSS)—which integrates Traction Control, Stability Control, and ABS—provide a level of confidence and planted feel that traditional two-wheelers simply can't match.
Ergonomics are where the ST truly shines. It features a relaxed, upright seating position with footpegs placed for comfort, and a manually adjustable windshield to customize your airflow.
